Short Story Test tomorrow – study plot line, you can go online and read the story that you will be tested on, and you can review your literary terms that will most likely be on the test (setting, character types, conflict, irony types, point of view).
You might also want to remember the word Fantasia.

Short Story Test is on Tuesday – You will not need to remember any story that we read. You will read a story and answer questions on it. You can find the story on our web page – www.lordalford.com
Finish the story of “The Lady or the Tiger.” Your ending is completely up to you. You may alter things as you see fit, as long as it does not change what the original story tells. You begin where it says he opened the door on the right. This is due FRIDAY.
The story should be ¾ to 1 page in length.

Read the Helios, Charybdis, and Calypso sheet. Tomorrow we will have an open notes quiz. You can find this sheet at: http://www.lordalford.com/9grade/odyssey/ody.htm if you forgot yours. It is listed under Stop 10, 11, and 12 (scroll down).

Finish the back of the vocabulary sheet. It is the reading passage with the 10 questions and the word READ really big on top. If you’ve lost it, go to the Odyssey section of our website www.lordalford.com and you will find it there.
Study verb conjugation. Remember that the progressive tenses are just the “to be” verb plus the verb you are conjugating with an –ing on the end.
